These terms apply to use of this website (mainio.co) and the mainiø iOS app. By using either, you agree to these terms.
mainiø is an AI literacy learning app developed by Deepform Oy. It provides lessons, missions, gamified progress, AI-powered learning tools, and related content. A free tier may be available. Premium features require a paid subscription.
mainiø is designed for general AI literacy and individual learning. It is not designed to make official decisions about admission, grading, placement, discipline, exam monitoring, or other formal educational outcomes.
If you are under 18, use mainiø only with permission from a parent, guardian, school, or other responsible adult where required. If a school or organization wants to use mainiø with students or minors, the organization must make sure it has the required authority, notices, consents, and safeguards before doing so.
You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the activity on your account. Don't share your account with others, misrepresent your identity, or create fake accounts.
mainiø includes AI-powered features such as chat, skill maps, image analysis, and image generation. AI output may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Treat it as learning support, not professional advice or an official decision.
Do not submit sensitive, confidential, medical, financial, official school, or third-party personal data to AI features unless you have a clear right and reason to do so. AI feature inputs may be processed by third-party AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy.
Use mainiø for lawful learning and creative purposes. Don't attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, bypass limits, interfere with security, or abuse the service. Don't use mainiø to create unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or infringing content.
Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store or the relevant app store provider. Prices, renewal terms, trials, cancellations, and refunds are handled under the app store provider's terms and policies. Cancel before a trial or renewal date if you do not want to be charged.
mainiø content, missions, articles, skill maps, scores, XP, badges, and other progress indicators are provided for educational and motivational purposes. They are not official school grades, certifications, or competency assessments unless separately agreed in writing.
You are responsible for how you use content generated in or by mainiø. Make sure you have the rights and permissions needed before sharing generated content outside the app.
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, where it is stored, which processors we use, and how you can exercise your rights.
We may change features, pricing, availability, and these terms as mainiø develops. We may suspend or limit access if needed to protect the service, comply with law, or prevent misuse.
mainiø is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent allowed by law, Deepform Oy is not liable for indirect losses, decisions you make based on app content or AI output, or interruptions outside our reasonable control.
These terms are governed by Finnish law. Any disputes are handled in Finnish courts, unless mandatory consumer protection law gives you another right.
